CUBA MARCH 01-08, 2025 JARDINES DE LA REINA
Have you experienced fly fishing in Cuba? It’s a go to destination for serious anglers and easily one of the Caribbean's most stunning islands. The moment you step off the plane, you'll feel as though you've traveled back in time, with classic American cars from the 1950s cruising alongside horse-drawn carts. The charm of Cuba is everywhere, from the warm smiles of locals selling handmade crafts to the iconic rides in vintage Chevys.
But the real adventure begins on the water. Cuba offers some of the most untouched fishing grounds in the Caribbean, particularly in Jardines de la Reina. This expansive archipelago covers over 840 square miles, with more than 600 cays and islands. It’s a dream come true for fly fishers, offering the chance to catch Permit, Bonefish, and Tarpon in their natural habitat.
We have spots available during one of the best fishing weeks, timed perfectly with favorable moon phases and tides. You’ll spend 7 nights and 6 days aboard the Avalon II mothership, where each guest enjoys the privacy of their own cabin. The benefits of a mothership are countless, including the flexibility to easily relocate to different fishing spots or seek shelter from bad weather. The guides' skiffs can be towed or stationed at nearby cays, ensuring you’re always in the best fishing spots. All meals and transfers are included in this package.
This is hands down our favorite fishing destination in Cuba, and it has never disappointed us. For more details, please contact us and bear in mind that international airfare, gratuities, and conservation licenses are not included in the trip cost.

Few places on Earth can match the diverse ecological richness of Chile's Patagonia region. Surrounded by majestic mountains and dotted with clear rivers, streams, and lakes, this area is renowned for its abundant rainbow and brown trout. At Puma Fishing, we proudly operate Chile's sole mothership, ensuring safe passage on the lake even in inclement weather and offering flexibility to explore different fishing grounds under varying conditions. Our 60-foot mothership features three cabins, accommodating up to six anglers with individual bunks and bathrooms. Additionally, we provide two cabins and a lodge in our land-based operations along the riverbanks.

Depending on the season, you can enjoy exceptional dry fly fishing for rainbow and brown trout. We also catch brook trout, steelhead, and coho, king, and Atlantic salmon. Weather permitting, there's also the chance to pursue saltwater species such as snoek mackerel and slender tuna. Our expeditions focus on the Yelcho watershed, a large, pristine freshwater lake fed by eight rivers, offering optimal fishing from both our mothership and land-based facilities.

Our lodge boasts IGFA world records for rainbow and brown trout, king and silver salmon, the giant snoek mackerel, slender tuna, and perca trucha, not in line classes but as the heaviest or longest catches of these species ever recorded. According to the IGFA, we hold more world records than any other lodge in the world that primarily fishes in freshwater. This accomplishment is a testament to our 40-plus years of operation and our experienced guides who intimately know the waters we fish.

Our all-inclusive trips feature gourmet cuisine prepared by our chef using local produce and Chilean wines from top vineyards. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia and Chile for the trip of a lifetime. We currently have availability in December 2024 and select prime spots in February and March 2025. For further details or specific inquiries, please contact us.

7 nights / 6 days: $6,650.00 (excluding airfare and gratuities).
